Sublime images. Could someone please tell me what frames he’s wearing? Lemtosh?
Keep up the good work fella! Best to you and yours for 2012.
Hello Ian,
They are Warby Parker Fillmore specs.
Best to you.
So beautiful! I love all of your shots. Exquisite. x
Thank you Karyn. Aesthetic consulting – interesting work… Glad you found us.
Best to you. Michael

I know if I hang a wooden clothes hangar on my wall my friends would wonder how crazy can I get? I’m still not sure that James shouldn’t have hung the black/white framed picture next to his bed in place of the hangar. Hey, I’m not a decorator nor an artist, who am I to say what’s right?
I liked the way the photographs are arranged, like a soft drumming leading to a crescendo upon opening into the kitchen/dining and carrying us into the living area. James has a cozy place.
Vivian,
That hanger is a fixture in his ever popular blog. Those who follow the blog might recognize the “hook” from which he hangs and photographs articles of clothing — that’s why I had to include it.
Always great to hear from you V.
Best,
Michael

love it all.
Jenny,
Thanks for dropping by. I liked your blog. Stay with in the New Year as things are going to get better!
Happy New Year,
Michael
I absolutely love his blog and I’m so glad you chose to feature him. His space is exactly how I would imagine it would be.
Joy,
I often arrive not knowing what to expect when I go to these AAW shoots. As a regular follower of James’s blog I had certain expectations. Though I was impressed by James’s restraint. He seems to have just the “right” things and nothing else. Sort of Zen if you think about it.
Thanks for taking the time.
Best,
Michael

i dont know whether it’s your photos make feel this or i really think like this, the hanger suits him perfectly.

Fiona,
Happy New year to you! James’ story is great. I’ve wanted to shoot him for a while. Everyone seems to love his glasses. I guess that’s why he’s so successful; he has great taste.
Good to hear from you,
Michael
