This is truly one of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen photographed and it is photographed oh so well! Amazing atmospheric, smokey, sensual vibe. Everything is serenely elegant and yet unintimidating. The photographs have really captured something special here
Zack,
Your description is perfect. Shelly is an incredible woman whose style is reflected in everything she does.
Thanks for your comment.
Happy New Year.
Michael
I adore the exposed brick. It gives the feeling of a modern stone cottage in the middle of the concrete jungle that is New York. How lucky she is!! Thank you for sharing!!
Manon,
How about a working fireplace! Her place was one I could have moved into with out changing a single thing.
Thanks for commenting.
Best,
Michael
PS
I like your blog
Not only do I love her space but she seems so humble and wise! Everything
is so interesting about this post!

Tracy,
I agree. Its the first thing you see when you walk in. It was my favorite room in the house. I loved the smokey colors.

Helt underbar lägenhet. Vackra bilder. Blir alldeles salig så fint. Här ofta här inne på An afternoon. Alltid så inspirerande miljöer. Älskar det.
Kram Eva
Tack Eve!

Just kidding, now it does. Ignore above, except for the part about her apartment being perfect.
Thanks Erika. There’s always bugs to be worked out. Glad you liked the story. I loved it.

The link to Mrs. Steffe’s website doesn’t work. But her apartment is absolutely breathtaking.
