absolutely love the well organized and open kitchen space. the serenity of that bedroom almost drowns away the city chaos
a completely perfect apartment. would love to know what building this is in in brooklyn. guessing its in williamsburg – or dumbo?
Jo,
Dumbo if I remember correctly. Her place was perfect indeed. A lot of great ideas. Many of which I plan on appropriating.
Thanks for commenting.

Beautiful apartment. And, that surfboard … it absolutely fits.
And, another great shoot on your part.
Poonam – lovely to see you. Great space(s)
Hi, just wanted to let you know that I’ve nominated you for The Versatile Blogger Award. Enjoy and congrats! Cheers, Rashelle
i like her surfboard. and i do really like the reflections on the glasses above her bed.
it looks like she has that peace inside from her portrait.
Fiona,
Dont think I forgot about you . Just get a too busy sometimes. I loved your comment about her portrait. You are probably right she does have a definite calmness to her.
I hope you are well and coming to New York one day soon.
Best,
Michael
Her style has a nice balance…minimal, yet real. As always, dig the book stack shot..such an eclectic mix of titles…as her decor, a nice balance of genre. Luv the shoes ~
angela,
Balance! I agree and very real indeed. One of the cooler ladies Ive met in a while.
Thanks for your comment.
Michael
The bedroom is my favorite but I love it all. The exposed brick, the openness, natural meets industrial. The whole space seems very energetically clear.
Tobi,
Theres a certain modesty to her space. She clearly is a women who knows what she likes and doesnt have to “show off”. I really respect her for that.

love this apt , love the bedroom view too !!
Michael,
Good too hear from you. What we wouldn’t do for a view like that.
Hope all is well.
Best,
Michael
I love the bricks in the bedroom and kitchen! That’s it, I have to move to NYC 🙂

Come! We’d be glad to have you. Its nice to know people are inspired by all these cool people I get to shoot. Thanks for sharing.
Best,
Michael
I love the openness and stark aspects balanced with warm objects and shots of color in the red stools, blue bed cover, etc. The kitchen is wonderful, as well. Looks functional, livable and appealing to the eye, all at once. Thank you for this.
Bernice
I love the kitchen too. Looks like she really uses it well. If you look closely there are a lot of great ideas going on there.
Take care,
Michael
The urban settings are great. Loved Poonam Khanna’s space, but wonder how she dresses in the morning with no covering on the window. She’s certainly not shy!

She lives in a very industrial area of New York on a high floor which one side faces the river. So her privacy remains intact.
