One of my new favourite blogs, gives you a little glimpse into the lives and homes of New Yorkers. Maybe I like it because I have this desire somewhere inside me to live and work in New York. While it doesn’t help me with a job in the city, Michael Mundy’s ‘an afternoon with…’ it certainly gives me *lofty* ideas about places I think I’d like to live. Worth a read!
Love your blog and have nominated you for a Beautiful Blogger Award—http://leblogdemarie.com/2012/08/10/things-that-make-me-smile-19/
No worries if awards aren’t your thing. Just wanted to give you a nod to let you know I enjoy your blog!
Marie,
Thanks for your nomination. I am not familiar with the award though it would be nice to win something. Glad you like the project.
Best,
Michael
As I always comment, I just love your posts. The composition of your shots seem so real and approachable and I always feel like I have just spent some time with your subjects in their own private space. I love the opening shot with a drawing of the couple to the left – very nice. Love the simplicity and urban approach to their style. They certainly seem to make the most of that space. Good choice of furniture with legs to keep the rooms open and airy. Thanks for sharing.
Style Dancer,
Thanks for your insightful comment. Its nice when someone can articulate so well just what makes a room interesting.
Please keep your thoughts coming.
Best,
Michael
havent found so many interesting things in this post yet, honestly. but im a bit interested in the last shot about their looks into their dog. and im just wondering, how exactly would their looks be if you take a this pic from another angle into their eyes?
Great collection of artworks.
nudebyxmas,
Thanks for commenting. Weve been away but are now back.
I liked the eclectic nature of their collection. I think it says a lot about their taste.
Best,
Michael
Another lovely apartment. Favorite bits? The sweet dog and the nesting dolls. 🙂
Thanks for commenting. Weve been away but are now back. Glad you liked the story. I liked those dolls too.If you are going to have dolls like that it might as well be Madonna.
Take care,
Michael
Great photos and a wonderful apartment! When can I move in?? 🙂
